My 1990 fuel injected justy which up till a week ago has very dependable now will not start some days.
On a day it did not start I checked the spark while the engine was cranked and it seemed fine. The check engine light acted normal. I figured it was a fuel delivery problem. I could hear the fuel pump run or a few seconds when I turned on the key. I installed a pressure Gage just ahead of the fuel rail. It reads 40 psi. Both when the engine will not start and when I can get it going while it is running. On a day it will not start I can get it to run by squirting gasoline or start fluid into the throttle body. Then it will start and it runs great. It is almost like a different circuit activates the fuel injectors during cranking and when the engine is running. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have a look at the fuel pump/injector relay. It's a brown/beige box located just above the Hood release handle and there is (2) large wires that come from the battery and gets interrupted by the relay then go to the fuel pump and injectors.
There is also a small wire coming from the key switch that activates the relay. I simply scrapped the relay and connected the switch wire to the pump and injector wires.
