I've got an '85 justy 2doors, 4wd, 1.0, and i love it but i ran into a big problem. my fuel pump doesn't work anymore and i need another one. i can't find it and I'm desperate. i did try to put a pump with 1.6 bars but it's to powerful and my mechanic told me i shouldn't improvise with that 'cose it's dangerous.
I'm from Europe and i need some help. where can i find a replacing pump? i know mine works at 0.7 bars so i was thinking i could buy a similar one but didn't find one no were in my city and i kinda went to all dealers.
does anyone know an European car with a similar pump? or an on line store where i could purchase one?
another thing... my pump wasn't the original. it has no code printed on it just the brand FuelFlo. i made a quick search and all i could find was a new zeeland firm called fuelflow that produces universal fuel pumps. problem is that's kinda far from where i live (Romania).

Why can't you install a fuel pressure regulater between the fuel pump and the carb. Most high performance aftermarket parts places sell them.

i forgot: the justy fuel pump is supposed to work between 0,9-1,4 bar. so i think your 1,6 bar pump is ok.

I also think it is OK. I am running a 3 bar Mercedes fuel pump with a fuel pressure regulator. I just had to replace the stock fasteners with stronger clips on the fuel line...
