I'm having a hard time envisioning what you're talking about. If you have all the bell housing bolts out, the engine should separate from the transmission by jiggling it back and forth. If you're trying to remove the front drive axles from the transmission, you will need to use a drift and knock out the roll pins that hold the inside of the axles to the transmission. If you mean the drive shaft leading to the rear differential, you will need to split it at the flange right in front of the steady bearing then just pull it out of the transmission. If none of this helps, try rewording your question.

the cherry picker is holding up the motor and its attached in the back of the motor to the drive shaft leading to the rear end.
