I'm in the middle of rebuilding the engine, but have hit a snag. The balancer shaft has to be timed to the crankshaft but the Chilton manual doesn't say how to do it. Will you post how the factory manual says how to do it, please.
This is time sensitive, I need to get the engine back in the car by tomorrow. Thanks!

Mostly to answer Henri's question... It's not my best scan, but it does the job. Note the position of the gold links of the chain to the timing marks on the balancer and camshafts. Matthew
