Are there any manufacturers of the aftermarket variety for GenII Justy's?
My headlight housings are cracked/mossed up and just plain unsafe when it comes to producing light.
I can't seem to find anything. You'd think with such a 'common' shape that someone would have made something...TYC, APC...somebody.
Thanks!
My end result would be a retrofit of hella micro HID projectors...

I just took a look at the rockauto.com catalog and didn't see anything.
Are you talking about the outermost clear piece only or the entire housing? If it weren't for the cracks I would recommend just buffing them for now to improve visibility. Had to do that to my tail-lights when I first got my car.
As far as the lights themselves go have you thought about using phillips night guides? They're fantastic bulbs, and wouldn't require as much work as the HID retrofit.
Sorry I couldn't help more; I have a gen I so I don't know what your headlights are like.

My lenses are glass. I wish I had gen 1 lights...they are sealed beam and don't have to worry about this problem LOL
I might just get some low/hi HID's if I can't scrub the nastiness off

I looked for a driver's side headlight for my 89 with no luck.(Seal leak. Water condensation inside.) Local parts stores, EBay, on line parts sites. Nothing. Zip. Nada. I finally located an 89 at the Pull a Part salvage yard in Augusta GA. Its 198 miles one way from my house but was worth the trip. I would suggest calling your local salvage yards or checking on line for local yards that list inventory. When you drive old vehicles you sometimes have to dig a bit deeper and search a bit longer to locate spare parts. You can also list your need in the "Wanted" postings on this forum. Good luck!

+1 on your suggestion. On a whim last week I went to the local pull a part. They had two 2g justy's and one good headlight between then Now I have a hi/lo HID kit installed, 5000k and 55w. These headlight housings disperse the HID light very well. I'm surprised

bump I just installed a DDM Tuning 55w 5000k hi/lo kit. Surprisingly the glare isn't bad at all. Just aimed the headlights down a tad. Haven't been flashed once. I can post pics if anyone would like I'd like to see some pics if you have them man.
