**DrewNukesEm**, love the skateboard bushings (plus the dog working the jack). Those will likely hold up better than the stock rubber. -RRJ Thank you RedRoo.. I was pretty excited to have that work out.. Recycle, reduce, reuse and close the loop. (Especially because like you said they will hopefully last longer and matched the other red poly bushings! Yeah my dog is always so curious of what I'm doing in the garage, she likes to hang out there with me. No problem Mhuk, I'm glad it helped someone else out.

Good to see you back Ferox. This is inspiring me to use a digital camera when I do my suspension rebuild this Spring.

Wow guys, glad I can start such a friendly ruckus! Again!! Don't worry, that's a good thing. Ok, email from Dusty himself: Jimmy, all these parts show to be still available so we can order them from Subaru. #33 $21.75 #34 $7.00 #35 $3.50 And about #43, the sway bar, there were two different ones used. The 89-94 GL 2drs used a 22mm, and all DL and 5dr used a 23mm unit. They are interchangable, and the price is the same either way at $162.95, but it might be worth trying to hunt that one down used. Let us know if we can do anything for you. Dusty Bennett: Owner www.dustysjustys.comAnd I think I want to do the skateboard thing too! My front end seems to be fine, I keep checking the hubs once a week, they are just fine. For farcle's sake guys haha we should all know that Justy's are just working projects! Whoohoo!

If you don't have extras laying around, you can pick the skateboard bushings up at any skate shop for like $3-$5. They are made out of polyurethane, and come in a few different colors that all represent hardness.. From hard to soft.. Black 100a, neon yellow 99a, white 98a, neon pink 96a, red 95a, neon green 93a, yellow 92a, blue 88a (these are all doh-doh brand, you can find other brands with other colors too..) I'd stay away from the really hard ones. Also you may have to bore the hole out a bit with a dremel unless you get the really soft ones, and they are able to stretch around the post.

So it really does not matter about the hardness(but not too hard of course)? That's pretty cool.

I have 95shore A on ARB bushes/Front wish bones
80Shore A will be used on the rear wish bones as it was the only rod I could get for it.

Those were some great pictures, DrewNukesUm. One question: Was the dog really just hanging out or was she making sure you had the right camera angle??

Those were some great pictures, DrewNukesUm. One question: Was the dog really just hanging out or was she making sure you had the right camera angle?? Thank you. Most of the time she just lays back and observes, but yeah, you're right this time she was checkin' the camera angle for me.. haha. She's pretty much the only girl I know that likes to hang out in the garage and watch me work on things.

Hey all!!! Just got back from a pretty epic journey with some friends, from the High Rock Canyon area - just north of Black Rock Desert. Beautiful area!! Justy did just-y outstanding!!! During one part of our Desert venture I decided it would be fun to mob through a large mud puddle....bad idea with justy I knocked the front anti-sway bar off Well, flipped it around, bent it up, and pushed it back, rather. So...remembering reading this thread, I just ripped it off at that point. 50+ miles from anywhere - there was no other choice. What I've found....Justy rules OFF-roading now!!! The 2WD option works enough now that I rarely need 4WD. It is smoother and much more flexible in the rough terrain. It makes sense after looking at what the bar does, that each wheel can act a bit more independently and hold traction much better. I contemplated fixing another from a local pick n' pull yard - but I decided not too. For as little of a difference that I feel at high speeds - jerking the wheel around (to test it) I would rather keep it off for the benefits on the dirt. -Adam Is this ok?
