Hello, I want to mod my justy`s rear diff, to make it lockable,but i don't have a ideas for how to do it To lock the diff i need to stop spinning the green wheel,but the case(the purple thing) is spinning too,and i cant put something to stop spinnig the green wheel.Do anyone have a idea to make this?

Audi uses a locker by using a vacuum operated actuator to slide an engagement ring (attached to the yellow axle) into the differential carriage(purple). This technology might be difficult to retro fit. Many 4x4s also use locking differntials but havent researched them.
Poor mans locker is to weld red green and yellow together. If you have access to a backup diff that could work depending on your application. Just swap it when needed.

Well, I did work with this guy years ago, who at the time had a Dodge rampage that would run low 10's on the quarter mile..anyways..he couldn't find a locking differential for it. So he, along with his machinist friend built one that mimmcked the Dodge tapered cone style....he either used a spring out of something or had one made...it worked like a charm...I'm not sure how much work it was in the end to get it right...but for those of you with access to shop equipment....it's been done....
