A Justy racist... Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Danimal chose to put it here, because Sj told him so. Soooo who looks worse here, come on!! Eh, eh? See someone tries to make a point here, I don't even know how to respond now to the ridiculousness of this post, as in how it has become. "4x4=more crap to mess with BUT DON'T TAKE IT APART!" Gimme a break, he just wants to do it without negativity. It may be a Justy, but it's just a car in the end. You get in it, it gets you from point A to point B, and you have fun too(ok, MOST of us have fun in them). It is just like food. You eat it, you get your nutrition, and sometimes you have fun, and sometimes it does not matter what you have, whether it's a single dollar burger or a Big Carl Combo, you get your shit so it does not matter in the end. Why be so partial? I love my Justy, but if I have to give it up for a bigger vehicle(but not an SUV) for my family or my job, then so be it, I can pretty much get another Justy soon enough, I am not worried about it. If he screws up(which I don't think he will) then he will probably move on to something else, why? because he can.
I vote there should me no more comedy section because I don't want to see another person's idea get laughed at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe Danimal chose to put it here, because Sj told him so. You are wrong. Also, you told Danimal the same thing that I did, in case you forgot. Danimal, please start a new thread in the most suited category. Yeah Danimal, please start a new thread in the most suited category. No person told Danimal to start his thread on the Comedy board. Danimal decided on the "most suited category". Imaginarious, please do not grind your axe without first reviewing the record. I vote there should me no more comedy section because I don't want to see another person's idea get laughed at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vote all you like, hell start a poll. So then why in the name of farcle is this still in the comedy section? I agree... Perhaps it is not a joke after all? I would be happy to move this whole thread to the 4WD or Projects or Guides boards if the O.P. would bless it. I will bless it then because the lads 'ave spoken; how about into Projects? Thanks SeattleJusty. This thread has a link to the four wheel drive bit already and I still don't know that anyone has need of a Guide to make the same change in their own Justy(keep in mind I did leave all of the rear 4X4 drive components and plan to one day return to the 4WD system if ever I can find the missing propellor shaft which I need, and hopefully with a custom built gearbox with the fourth gear ratio out of a GenI FWD gearbox); I'm getting no better in fuel economy, maybe due to the cold weather lately and/or the carburettor getting worse and at nearly 160Kmiles needing the engine rebuilt soon or at least a valve cleaning. Yamazakura also has an oil leak at the distributor. -Danimal P.S.- The only participating member of the staff these days is a single moderator and a moderator can only perform basic functions. have you thought about downgrading to rwd?
alot of guys that drift subarus remove the fornt axle shafts from the trans and run a axle stub...more like a plug. that would get you to 2wd.
if its gotta be fwd, why not jsut remove the driveshaft at the u-joint off the yolke?

have you thought about downgrading to rwd? ... if its gotta be fwd, why not jsut remove the driveshaft at the u-joint off the yolke? That's what I've done for years. Now that I was changing my clutch I swapped out the 4X4 transmission with a spare FWD. My trouble now is the worn out FWD gearbox's mount. Did you see this?I'm not really a fan of RWD anyway. Isn't that just like putting the cart before the horse? -Danimal
