this morning driving from yallahs to work(kingston) the car just shut off mi come out check the oil, check the coolant, check spark plug wires and everything was alright. went back in the car start it and drove off,,,
comin down a hill i preesed the brake and when mi ready fi press the gas mi realise the car shut off again but i realised also that the car keeps shutting off when i don't give it any gas so u know seh th cra shut off pon mi like 10 times b 4 mi reach work.
so weh mi do is start use the hand brake for the brake and keep givin it gas.
point: the car keep shutting of if i don't give it any gas or once the car stops or slow down. What coul be the cause of this and how can i correct it

Two things I can think of that may directly cause your problems are the idle screw may have worn and slipped or fallen out completely or if it's carbed the accelerator pump or solenoid on the carb may be playing the fool. If it runs fine without missing with your foot on the gas I would look fuel related (carburetor or throttle body, injectors etc.) advance mechanisms and air hoses to the various vacuum connections.

You might check your fuses too. one time I had a fuse blow and every time I pressed the brake the engine died.
