Why does legit for sales end up in the comedy??? They are for sale!!! It may be funny, but I still do not want folks to be deterred from buying/selling/trading Justys, much less get to this board only to find a few regional(but hilarious AND legit) sales have been moved to the comedy section.....but I guess then they had no idea they were moved, I suppose...
Oh by the way, that guy with the black '88 had put up an ad to actually store his Justy(and Taurus). He wanted to give 50 clams for the first month up front, and 100 for the next two months so someone's house can be Justy and Taurus fodder; so of course I wrote him, told him I had a heated garage where I normally keep mine, and he said he found someone else. Kinda weird.

For those who haven't discovered it yet: To search Craig's List all over the US go to Craigslook.com and you can search the whole US for whatever you want off craigslist. You get a picture, price, and phone number. You have the option to view the original ad as well.

We can change the title or we can change the location. Imaginarious or Napoleon can decide.

We can change the title or we can change the location. Why not change the title to "The Truth about your 4CYL Justy" then promote it to the top of "Anything and Everything"? stacks OK Napoleon.

Kinda weird. I'm with you Its a sale item even if the owners clueless. Maybe it was given to him and he assumed it was a 4cyl. It's not like it says it on the side of the car and you see a 3cyl everyday... Personally I didn't find it funny at all IDK maybe it's harder to find ignorance funny when your mature....

I moved this to the comedy section because you chose an all caps title exclaiming 4CYL JUSTY. If it had actually been about a real 4 cylinder powered Justy be it custom modified or one of the overseas clones, that would've been different. You know he was wrong and you exploited his mistake for attention and laughter. That is why I moved the thread and also to slow the perpetuation of the falsehood that the classic Justy (Subaru Justy) was offered with a four cylinder engine. Imag, I know you won't remember this because you just got your 3rd star but there was a time when these boards were littered with curiosity from confused people who thought the classic Justys had a 4-cyl option ala Suzuki Swift/Geo Metro. Combine that with the onslaught of what other engines can fit in this car queries that gather every week and that whole mess could spin out of control.
I didn't move the thread to be snarky, I just did it to keep an order and in the spirit of your humorous title.

. . . 3. . . 2. . . 1 enter Stacks! Boy, did I call that or what!? Do not believe this propaganda as SJ has a habit of relocating threads to suit his interests. See another one here subarujusty.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wanted&thread=2867&page=1#18314 which wasn't so funny. Tell us SJ(if you are ever so inclined to answer my questions): -Why did you relocate the above(linked) thread to comedy bin? -Why did you promote your own thread to top of A&E? -Do you realise that actions based on one's own personal bias may not be in the interest of the forum at large? -Do you realise that you've been partial with respect to the 3 example mentioned? Oh and as for you trying to justify your pityful, shameful, childish name-calling by partially quoting me, "pigs" is simply a reference to the animal farm; they are the main characters! Oh, where's Dunk when you need him? stacks Please everyone click on the link provided, review that very short thread that is only six posts long and drifted into a joke-fest after a post from Stacks himself which people accused Stacks of photoshopping (doctoring/falsifying) an image to make an argument. Stacks never denied this. The thread stalled 29 hours after it started and RawJustice was the last one to post, after that the thread has been inactive. Not inactive because I locked it, inactive because it drifted into comedy and never, ever, ever got back on track. Half or more of that thread is about the questionable image posted by Stacks and the joking around that ensued. Nobody else complained except for Stacks, the guy that started that particular drift. I've got my finger on the countdown button.

Hey, has everyone included their locations in their profiles? No, but I did list which type of Justy I have. On that note: I am considering switching my current AWD transmission with my spare FWD transmission. I have to put in a new clutch anyway and was wondering how much exactly I will have to change if I switch them. Also, once the transmission is completely disconnected can it be maneuvered out of the engine bay with the engine still in place? Also with the radiator still in place? I know that the gear linkage is a different length and that the FWD has an extra motor mount. Will I need to change the wiring and computer? If I dont change the wiring there is one connector for which I will have nowhere to connect; I'm hoping to just leave it hanging. Can I just seal the one extra(have I missed something?) vacuum line that operates the 4X4, or is there more to the vacuum hoses than that? Have I left something out? *edit- I will also disconnect the electrical connector to the two solenoids that will no longer be needed once the vacuum hoses are removed. Is that necessary? It's just extra weight really.-Danimal p.s.- SeattleJusty, you can wait until I decide upon the switch or not and then perhaps move this thread to either "projects/builds" or "4WD" if I do the switch or to the "guides" for just the clutch replacement. I will certainly document whichever I choose so I can share it with everyone. Can this thread be saved from the "comedy" section?

Yeah Danimal,
please start a new thread in the most suited category.
Wow, 3 stars. Who cares?
And by the way, I don't think you have realized that I have matured in the Justy world. As in, there was a time when I wanted to increase my HP so I can make it up hills better and if that meant a turbo, then so be it, there was a time I wanted snazzy wheels, there was a time when I thought I could rally the crap out of it and then I realized I should just leave it alone. And besides, you positively cannot tell us that you have never ever thought about doing any of those things listed above. So listen up, there are 2 kinds of people on this forum, the ones that wanna preserve, and the ones who don't care. Stop worrying about other people's shit. You may think you are mister bad-ass moderator, but there are other people here other then you that just wanna do whatever they want, however they want, without someone be so negative about it. Yes, you are a man of info(I think everyone would agree) but you just are so negative about everything! Lighten up! Stop having fun at everyone else's expense! Start your own Justy forum, for chrissakes!
SJ was right, this should be in the comedy section because it has turned into a damn joke.

Yeah Danimal, please start a new thread in the most suited category. Wow, 3 stars. Who cares? Three stars is a reference to how many posts you have made/how long you have been around. This is not a matter of rank and therefore not a diss in any way. I was simply stating that you weren't around back then and so you wouldn't remember. Relax.

Imag, since most of the above post came after my reply (and yes that is OK to edit your post, I don't have a problem with post edits) I will reply again. That's great man If I were more of a smartass I would simply tell the truth and say no I haven't ever thought of turboing my car or tried to make it go up hills faster or use snazzy wheels, but I get what you really meant and in the spirit of what you meant, yeah sure I did. I have never liked turbos, or wanted to rally the piss out of my car or wanted rubberband tires but I did want to make my only transportation into some kind of ultimate road legal racer. . . when I was 18. I think there are more than two kinds of people on these boards. We are varied and wonderful. But I don't see what that has to do with anything. Actually I think you should start your own forum. You seem quite passionate about this idea. You might do better than some other expatriot(s) have with splinter group(s). I don't see any negativity here except for your angry outbursts. You seem to do a lot of angry yelling and I am sorry that something has triggered this in you. If I could offer you a Coke and a smile, I would. I hope you fell better tomorrow, Jim.
