As others have said before the original Justy's never came with "AWD" (All Wheel Drive). They have a part time "4WD" system which isn't the same as the AWD that came in every other Subaru from the 90's to present day. The exception would be the Justy's that are a rebadged Suzuki Swift. However, those were never imported to the US.
I find it interesting that the 4WD decal on the Justy's is almost always mistook for AWD. I think people need to look a little closer.

Well I'm personally sorry to have misunderstood the "4WD" to be "AWD". I have just started looking into the Justys. Yes I am a Noob at them, BUT just simply explain it to me that they are 4wd and spare the flaming. Again I'm sorry for not having the knowledge you do. Everybody's so sensitive.

Well the point is people need to educate themselves a little bit on how things work. Here's a good start: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-wheel_drive#4WD_versus_AWDWith AWD or 4WD the end results are basically the same. Power gets sent to all 4 wheels. How it gets their and the advantages and limitations of either sysem are different though. It's kind of like when someone refers to their throttle body injected vehicle as having a carburetor since it doesn't have an injector at each port. Just because the fuel and air gets mixed at the throttle body doesn't make it a carburetor. There is a reason they give different systems different names!

Everybody's so sensitive. Few members care to make the distinction and even fewer appreciate getting corrected on such a trivial matter. The pedant may enjoy the difference but really, the rest of us have moved on, even Fuji themselves who, in the early 90's, gave up on 4WD terminology and used the AWD instead. Grade 2 awaits... Photoshoped... lol
