hey i saw that you had coilovers on the front of your justy. Im assuming they are the sleeve type setup. What year neon were the coilovers for. Im looking to do the exact setup, and probably cutting a coil off of the front springs before putting them on the rear. Also if you had any other pictures that would be great as well. Thanks and keep up the good work!

THANK A MILLION!!!! very much appreciated. Been checking everyday to hear from you-lol. You justy looks great. Mine will be dropped very soon, havent decided if im just gonna try a cheap bs coilover up front or just buy two from ground control. I notice you still have 13s. Think you could fit 14s under there or is there just not enough room?

I run 145R13's all winter they are larger, but just barely stuff in there
IMO I think a 14 would fit fine..

sweet. time for wheels and 195/60/14's It's not so much about the wheel diameter as much as it is about the total combo (tire height). The 145R12's and 155/80R12's are 21.8" tall. I have a Gen2 with 175/70R13 and those fill the wells at 22.7" tall. Your average 195/60R14 is about 23.2" tall. I just don't think you'll ever get a 195/60R14 onto a Justy. A 185/60R14 on the other hand averages 22.8" tall and should fit just fine. Be wary of the weight of the wheels and the weight of the tires. The heavier your wheel & tire combo, the worse your acceleration, braking and handling will be...oh and it affects your gas mileage too!

I've also had issues with width clearance in the rear wheel wells. 175/75-13's wouldn't fit, but 165/75-13's would. I doubt 195's would fit.

On a stock Justy GL 13" wheel, yeah, a 175 is as wide as you can use because of the rear trailing arms but if you use a wheel with less offset or you add wheel spacers, then a 185 should be no problem and a 195 is possible too. Lord knows it isn't for lack of space outward. In the rear our enemy is a lack of space inward. Here is a successful 195 tire on a Gen2 Justy Here is a successful 185 tire on a Gen1 Justy special note: Justy GL wheels are only 5.0" wide and should not be shod with anything wider than a 185 For tires wider than 185mm use alternative wheels 5.5" or wider.

"Lord knows it isn't for lack of space outward." - SJHah, mos(t) def(initely). Stock gets to reminding me of those slimfast commercials where they pull the old waistline out! I think the Charcoal Grey Metallic is Malta's, but who is rolling with the Spore Green demon!?! What's the actually color name on that BTW? Spacers will certainly do the trick, but note that some of the universal/discount apps will not 'seat' properly against those 4 guide nipples on the front 'outter hubs'. Kanpai,

what is the tire off set limit (on tires and rims) in the usa befor you have to extend the fender well's That doesn't make any sense

wants to know how far out the wheels can be from the fender before you need flares...
I believe here in SK all you would need is mud flaps if they stuck out past the fenders
