Ok at the momnt I'm just using the stock radio, but I have plans to upgrade in the future. Anyway heres the problem my Justy came with the optional tape deck the hangs under the dash and the radio doesn't work without the tape deck plugged in. So I was wondering why this was and if there is anything different about Justys without the add on to make the radio work.
Thanks, Dave

Thanks, Dave When the tape player is unplugged there's suppose to be a round black plug that plugs into the back of the radio. This plug has pins in it that make a connection in the radio to bypass the tape player option. The trick will in finding one of these plugs. I'm sure someone on here probably has one lying around. Hell, I might even have one if I looked!

Ok so its nothing to do with the wiring in the car it has to do with the radio so if I install an aftermarket deck I won't have to worry about it right?

If you're going with an aftermarket deck you'll have no problems. Just buy one of those $6 adapter harnesses off of ebay and it'll all plug right in.
