Stacks, Jack up the car as high as you can. Then use a large crescent wrench to brake them free. Make sure that the wrench fits very tightly on the inner tie rod. Definitely, make sure the car is stable! Before you install them you use lock tight on the treads and, at the end, the locking ring to secure them. That's how I did my inners on my corolla gts and 240sx. ;D

The thread lock is just another precaution and red is the strongest, which will be sufficient.
