As above can I fit a tow bar to my 1993 4wd justy? And does anyone have any clues as to where I might get one? Google and ebay are short on answers so far

That's so funny! It isn't a Justy, is it? I've already been shown that video by a co-worker teasing that it was my Justy.

Haha! Thats awesome! Don't worry I'm only planning on towing a trials bike, I couldn't abuse my Justy quite that much!

FYI, it's a Renault 5 in the video.

My bad! I usually take everything for sale on eBay with a grain of salt anyway, but since I was looking figured I'd post it.

Having looked under my Justy I can't see how that would fit but thank you for keeping an eye out! It's appreciated.
I was tempted to remove the stock tow hook and use it as a template to get something welded up. That sounds reasonable doesn't it?
Max weight it'll be towing is no more than 200Kg.
The manufacturers I've contacted here in the UK reckon they stopped making Justy towbars as the fit was so hit and miss.

Had a nice bit of luck today! Popped into my local scooby dealer to get some service parts and it turned out he had an old stock towbar in his storeroom which let me have for £57.50 Uk pounds!
Result!
Seems I won't have to weld one after all! Thanks for the comments everyone.

Yeah off the top of my head, JKing can occur pretty quick, but normally I see it when a semi farcles up going forward and then oop the ass end of the trailer wants to make out with the cab/driver, but...my bro in law(JESSE, you dicks ;-)) put a square hitch on his Justy to tow shit to the dump; his "trailer" is one of those...truck beds, from an old chevy, things...yeah, he says he gets mighty scared when he hits the brakes comin' down the hill when he is loaded up...

The jack knifing thing is a good point. I would think if you were going to tow regularly with your justy a double hitch would be a much safer way to go.

How is shorter better? In a fantasy/not far off world, the trailer(if JKed) would end up in front of the car, towing IT. Silly, eh? It's just that the Justy seems a...good vehicle to throw around...cuz of it's tiny, conveniently ridiculous light weight...catch my drift? Remember the above video? If at a good highway speed and that shit JKed....I see(while it may not actually happen) the trailer essentially staying ground level and the Justy going bye bye...

Thats why I'm saying double hitch! Why worry about jack knifing a trailer when you can just make a trailer that can't be jack knifed.

And don't forget: Justy's do not have anti-lock brakes.

When you need(?) to lock the rears just pull the hand-brake.

Exactly. If I am on the street, it's not hard the lock the front. The rear won't, but why would it? If you lock the front on ANY car, the rears won't lock. And on the gravel downhill, I lock the rears and have fun drifting sideways, wait. Now that I remember, I actually don't have to e-brake it around corners, since if I turn too sharp IN neutral (the whole way down), the ass end of the car swings around and sends me sideways. It's quite fun, I'll have to record it sometime. You know that whole "drifting in FWD"? This is it.
