Dude, you're flat out wrong. Just go to the Daihatsu website for Christ's sake. They still make cars in Chile, China, not to mention supplying cars to Perodua who is the biggest seller in Malaysia. Just because they aren't selling in your place of residence doesn't mean they went out of business. I get so annoyed by this, just like when Americans say that Yugo went bust just because they stopped selling them here. Zastava (Yugo) is alive and well today! They had to stop selling in the states because of U.N. sanctions against certain countries and their exports (political crap). I've also heard Americans say that Daewoo went bust because their cars were junk. Not true! More political crap with the Korean government and the chaebol system imposed on large businesses. What's next, are we gonna start talking about John DeLorean's prison sentence...?...that never happened because he was never indicted!!! There are two things I hate more than anything else: #1 using the wrong tool for the job #2 the perpetuation of falsehoods!

point taken. When I said,"Out of business", I was speaking about the U. S. only. Just like the Justy, some parts are readily available in Europe. Delorean was seen on tape selling cocaine. People in power seem to be very slippery.

The whole reason for this post was for struts. That's my point. How frustrated do you have to be to start cutting on people?

hi all! ;D i gotta put my pennies worth in here (interesting topic i think?!) Mr Delorean was set in a Honey trap by the police, they did get him, and he died in jail. he didnt set out to sell cocaine, but he wanted to get the cars built and had no cash... DaewoooO are owned by Daimler Chrysler who own Vauxhall/Opel, Mercedes Benz etc and sell Daewoooo's at a cheap rate (cos they suck arse compaired to everything else! they are still around though, check out the ginger Matize for proof). Daihatsu are (or at least were) owned by Fuji Heavy Industries and are still sold from the same dealerships as Subaru and Izuzu. check out the Charade GTti and the Sirion X4 for the coolest superminis (other than the Justy Im not sure if Yugo still being alive is a good thing for our roads...hmmm KYB arent the only ones who supply shocks to Subaru, Bilstein also provide models like the Legacy B4 with them from the showroom. happy hunting for Justy shocks

We in the US can't. And struts? Go to the dealer. That's where I buy mine. About $120 USD each. Matthew

Fair nuf, points made, back to your corners. Unless someone can prove that Delorean struts can fit on a Justy, let's keep things on topic.

Actually my front struts are still ok. I always wear out the rear shocks the most. It will be a real shame if I let my rs wear out like my last car did because I couldn't find any replacement parts. I am scared to ask what the dealer charges here. What car is the closest?, maybe I can weld something up

One last thing. I don't need to read the car owners handbook. I remember seeing the video when it all went down.
