Anyone put one in?
I have put in several of both on multiple vehicles, and a Stacker unit in my SVX- but the jsuty is kicking my butt.
I have tried both in my 91, no spark. the MSD 5 when hooked up I get a +4-6 volts on both + and - side of the coil. the MSD 6 gets no reading at all when hooked up.
not sure if I need a ballast resister, or maybe a different coil ?? I put a question in at the MSD forum, maybe they will know
car runs fine when they are removed.
errrrrrr.

My picture shows 4 wires on the ignition coil, with three of the leads being used.
#1 WHITE/YELLOW - Pin #2 on 14 pin ECU connector #2 Unused #3 BLACK/WHITE - Pin #9 on 16 pin ECU connector, condensor, fuse #1, pin 1 & 3 on fuel pump relay, joins with pin #2 on "check connector" (among other stray, seemingly arbitrary endeavors) #4 Grounded to many spots, including ECU harness & fuel pump relay
Hope this helps?

I'm thinking about selling a used MSD 6A if anyone is interested... I'm DE-modifying my truck if I can get myself to do it. Need to sell all the performance parts before I sell it.
