Hey everyone. I just bought a 86' justy as a little project car. I'm looking into making a amature rally car. I'm wondering what all it would take to get it done. What I should put on it and what not. I'm a little new to the rally concept so all your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Here are some pics of it in its current state. I'm working on getting some under the hood and the inside. The engine needs a new rod and i need a windshield for it (windshield vs. bowling ball)

Chances are if the engine has a rod knock it will need a lot more then a rod and a bearing. Usually the oil pump fails and the rod hammers the crank. Usually requires a good functioning used motor, due to the unavailability of parts for the cars. It's too bad someone destroyed that poor little 1G 4wd. -Terry

you have a fence on your car and your tires ran out of air.

I actually have another engine for it, so I can do the swap, as for the wheels and tires I have an other set I can throw on there. I actually didn't pay for it, it was given to me by a guy who doesn't like subaru much. I'm a huge subaru lover and i feel like this justy needs another chance.
