Well I just recently Pick up a Subaru Justy for about 500 from a car auction. Well the people who work there did not seem to know much about them and was tinkering around with the vacuum hoses now they are completely bone over and just every which of a way and I've called the subaru dealers of my area and no one have any diagrams from that year they only go back to 1990. Do anyone think they could take Detail pics of theirs so I can hook the hoses up correctly ? Any pics of the engine with its air filter off would be great!

Your carburetor holy grail/smut pics/illustrated bible starts here (Courtesy Scoob and Dunk): subarujusty.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=engine&action=display&thread=1113Search tip: if/when anyone does a search, be sure to change the days to waaay above the 10 day default. There are some ultra informational 'antique' posts up in here. Hope that helps,

ya so does mines but I cant seem to make heads or tails with it I'm not very good with working on cars x3 this is really my first one I've ever had to. But i'm willing to give it a good Go.
Currently the Justy's idling at 2000rpms while sitting in neutral. I poped the hood and thats when i notices a few of the vacuum hoses was not hooked up I've been studying diagrams but its hard when I dont have a manuel to tell me which part is what so i'm really just going by best guess. When I move the hoses around a bit it went from 2000 rpms to 1500 so I'm figuring thats the problem. I'm going to take some detail pics of it with colors on each of the hoses so I can get some of your input on if they are in the correct location.
