Hello all,
I am a brand new member and I found this site searching for ways to upgrade my Justy. I bought it from my friend about three years ago and I believe his family bought it close to new. I live in Regina Beach Canada and this is by far the best winter car ever! Starts every time and goes through everything. Here's the catch:
It's a 1995 Subaru Justy GL, they aren't supposed to exist. Previously I've only used the car in the winter because in the summer I drive my Lincoln Mark VII wich is a beautiful car.
Basically I am looking to increase the power so I can get even better gas mileage. When you step on the gas the car is quite gutless in fourth and fifth gear. I mainly use this thing as a commuter but I want to do work to it. I was thinking of making a hood scoop and re-routing the intake tube because it gets way tooo hot!
I am also wondering what the best size of rims and tires are for these cars, I don't want them to rub on anything but the 13" rims and weak tires have to go.
I can use all the tips you guys have.
Thanks,
Preston
