Hahahha.... I've been putting the rear brake job off for a few days myself... I put my rear brakes off for 12 years...finally pulled the drums the other day, because I was getting "brake noise" from the left rear. There was about an inch and a half of brake dust inside both drums. Emptied half a can of brake cleaner into both and, voila!! no more noise. Brake shoes still have some life left after 150,000 miles...and outer bearings still look good too. No wheel wobble anyway. But the rust under there makes me shudder

why would you have to touch the rear brakes when replacing the rear halfshafts?

No, a boxer will not fit in a Justy.
