Hay everyone!
I've got a 87' Justy SL/2 (was there an sl, never heard of it?) its carbed at the moment but we found out it had an injector once. I got a lot of gen2 parts, but sadly the seller didnt know what year it was, but it was a "Super Justy" =D with a funny picture on it with a flying lion in superman suit =DDD So im planning to swap whole engine with the mpfi and the gearbox as well. The guy also told me its got a limited slip differential (is that possible?) and im planning to get a nice little turbo for it later.
Great forum btw, thnx!

A Justy SL is the Japanes-spec Justy ( maybe other places that the only place i know for sure) translation= it has the 1liter engine instead of the 1.2 and maybe a few other styling differences

yeah its a 1.2, but my worry is that the engine and mostly the gearbox from the gen2 can be easily swapped with the gen1. I heard that the front axle length could be different.

You could better use a genI gearbox on a genII engine And no, there was no such thing as a LSD for a Justy (unfortunately )

why the gen1 gearbox is better instead of the gen2?

Well, the gen1 gearboxes use to have 'short' axle stumps. The gen2 gearboxes have longer axle stumps. So you can't mount gen2 axles on a gen1 gearbox. Unless you want to change the whole front end you could better use a gen1 gearbox I hope you understand what i mean

The inner spline (transmission side) of the axles are the same from gen1 to gen2. I have a gen2 tranny in my gen1 with gen1 axles and hubs.

In the Netherlands they where different, I'll post a picture next weekend (the late gen1's also had longer axle stumps)
