My first suggestion is to use the correct socket for torqueing those axle nuts The Justy should have a stock axle nut measuring 27mm and sometimes replacement axles come with a generic 30mm nut. Either way a 1-¼" [1.25-inch] socket would be way too large as 27mm = 1.06" and 30mm = 1.18" If I remember correctly, the specified torque for those babies is 150 FT-LBs. That's a lot of torque and demands the correct sized tool.

yes...I was in a hurry and sized out what i thought might be the right size... but anywho, today was sunny and warm so I tore everything apart today, and found my spindle splines were rounded off, talked to a mechanic he suggested buying a new spindle
so i think i may have it figured out, thanks for the wisdom

Let's straighten out some nomenclature before we go any further. The Justy only has spindles on the rear of the FWD models. The fronts all have splined axles poking through the hubs. A "spindle" is the same as a stub axleThe above photo shows an actual spindle. If your splines at the front are worn then what you'll need to do is replace the hubs and probably the axles too. You can get them used from the junkyards pretty cheaply. I have about 2 extra sets for someday when it's my turn. Please get yourself the correct socket for those castlenuts, man. You'll kick yourself later if ya don't.

I've only had my Justy 3 months and I've checked the nuts on my Justy wheels a couple times now. You guys are breeding paranoia.
Crankshaft nut torque? Oh man... what's next?
So what is the torque for the crankshaft?
