hi, my 91 justy ecvt has always had a slight wobble to it (needs new anti roll bar brackets welding up) but recently this has got twice as worse when driving 60mph plus. is there any common faults that makes a justy wobble and vibrate alot? thanks

Need more info to help you.Is the car shifting lanes suddenly when driving on a straight interstate freeway?Where are your front tires wearing,on the inside edges?Do you hear a rumbling grinding sound that is louder with more speed?.

not totally shifting lanes just feels very twitchy trying to keep it straight. tyres are brand new last month so no noticeable wear yet, and no rumbling noise like a wheel bearing.

worn suspension bushes? mine used to do a similar kind of thing, turned out to be the LHS bottom arm bush.

check the front axle nuts. put the car up on a jack and check the front wheels for excessive play. the front bearings are a load type so if the axle nut is loose they will wobble. I had sort of a wobble and after I tightened up the front axle nuts it went away.

check ALL your axle nuts. I had one that was stripped slightly in the rear, so it would 'pop' itself off by 1 thread - i would tighten it, drive fine for a while, and then all of a sudden it would start to dive into right-hand turns - the wheel was slightly loose and would pitch over a bit when turning even a little, and then the car would veer in that direction. made it hard to stay in a straight line on the freeway.
