Hi there,
I wanted to change my steeringwheel and therefor you have to first unscrew 2 screws on the back of the steeringwheel, so i can take the cover of, to loosen the centre bolt.
Now these two screws won't come loose.. is this normal?

Uh....my horn cover just popped off with a pull and then I was able to access the centre bolt. Are you sure it's screwed on?

No, they should unscrew with just a little bit of effort. I converted to a Grant wheel & kit on my 88 Gen 1... Which is similar to your 87 and the screws came out no problem! Try using a brand new #1 or #2 Phillips screwdriver. A worn screwdriver can make removal of those small screws a bit tough. Good Luck! PS... The 89-94 Gen 2 Justys had the cover that pops off. Gen 1 covers are retained with screws. This holds true for US and Canadian Justys Jim

I've switched the steeringwheel. I just couldn't get the screws loose, I've tried several (new) screwdrivers all sizes, but it justen didn't change a thing so I used some brutal power and ripped the cover of, it was the only way.
