I'm dealing with trouble codes for all three injectors right now. I've replaced the injectors and still am getting the codes. I'm thinking about checking the fuel filter and wondered if there is a pressure regulator I can check. If so, where would I locate it?

Virtually every Justy I have ran across needs a fuel filter. I would replace it, clear codes, & start over before doing anything more drastic. Filter is just under drivers door.

I replaced the fuel filter and the problem is still there but not as bad. the filter wasn't really all that plugged up but I put the new one on anyway. Tomorrow i'm going to see about getting another fuel rail from the wrecking yard.

I am guessing you have tried fuel injector cleaner? GOOD cleaner, not cheap stuff ? Try a 2x or 3x dose of Seafoam, available at most all parts stores.

I ran an injector cleaner through the system 4 months ago. I recently replaced the injectors with new ones maybe a month ago so i'm pretty surre a fouled injector isn't the issue. The car seems to run rich as if it's getting to much fuel. It goes through gas a bit quicker than it used to. i'm leaning towards a bad pressure regulator. My theory is that the regulator is allowing too much fuel pressure so when the injectors pulse they allow too much fuel through. If it's not the problem and i'm on crack then maybe the pump is wearing out and fuel pressure is below what it should be. I picked up a replacement fuel rail today for $25 and will install it tomorrow. if that doesn't fix it, i'll swap ECU's with my 90' 2 door to see if thats the problem. if that doesn't work then i'll test fuel pressure coming from the pump and replace it if necessary.

I replaced the fuel rail and it seemed to have little effect on the Justy. I think maybe the wiring is riddled with problems at this point. I'll try swapping some harnesses off of my other Justy to see if that helps. The car runs pretty good as it is but i'd like to clear the "check engine" light.
