30 mph into a traffic circle... all's going hunkey dorey ... stall , check engine light... coast to side of the road... no start . Getting fuel to carb, turning over (although quietish-ly!?), visible spark, battery charged full... Everything looks alright on the outside of the motor... checked vac and electrical connections... all looks OK, except noticed one of the 'fusible link relays' (small faded yellow plastic with see-through top - 1 of 2 with 3rd slot between the 2 empty), near brake reservoir was blown... ? ! ? Ergghhh,

That's one of your main fuses. Have you tried replacing it yet? I had one of these blow once, replaced it and it didn't blow again. However, general rule is fuses blow for a reason (something shorted).

Thanks Scoob, The dealer parts guys just stared at me, while sitting on their hands. I fabricated a couple up from some universal links and relays from the local parts store... seem to work. If anyone has a couple of these (30 amp and 60 amp), I'll shoot you some bucks and a self-addressed-stamped-envelope, postage paid.THE STALL/NO START MYSTERY IS SOLVED!!! I nosed around a bit more in the motor, peeked in the timing cover - belt broken!!! . Thanks folks; off to get greazy,

The thing that through me is that you said you saw spark. The only way your distributor can see spark is that the belt is turning the cam.
Just a helpful hint. Use some wood shims to help ease off that bottom pulley. My puller couldn't get in there so I had to improvise.

Those fuses should be standard autopart store stuff, they are one thing that automotive manufacturers have managed to make universal.

Thanks Matt, thanks Scoob. Hmmm... I'm actually refering to the ones in the engine compartment. Specifically, the ones (faded red and yellow) between the shock mount and the brake fluid reservoir in the pic below: (Did anyone ever figure what the connector in the red box, 2nd red box = enlarged/zoom of same connector is? Pic from prior post). As I mentioned before, a few cash and a prepaid envelope for a couple of those thingamajigs or some PayPal for a part # and a dealer contact who won't spit in your face/on your JUSTY! Thanks 3 cylinder brothers and sisters,

Yes, those are the fuses I was referring to as well, they are a standard item at any autoparts store, I got one at Canadian Tire up here.
