I have a '91 Justy 1.2 MPFI. When i bought it , he said it has a full new tune up, air filter, oil changed, rotor, wires, plugs, oil filter, and it just seems really gutless when cold, like 2800 rpm you can feel it pick up, and even my foot to the floor it doesnt even accellerate that much faster.
Any suggestions to make it run better? My 1.3l geo metro had more power than this and it only had 70hp.

Your timing may be retarded a couple of degrees from the factory spec and this could account for the sluggish acceleration. The factory spec should be printed on the certification label attached to the hood. Good Luck! Jim

Also check the valve gap. The first Justy I owned was extremely gutless at first, couldn't hold 100km/h on the highway. Turned out to be the valve gap.

well by the looks of everything, everything looks brand freakin new, but we will check the gaps and timing
also it might be running a little rich, will have a mechanic hook it up to his puter and check it out
