Hey, I've noticed a few things with my Justy, I'm not sure if this is normal or not. First, if I slide the car around a lil bit, the 4WD will turn on, if a tire comes off the ground the 4WD will come on. Sometimes with the ECVT when I'm pushing the car too much around corners and sometimes "pumping" the gas, the transmission seems to work against itself, meaning the gas will actually slow it down more. Also I ran a flat a few weeks ago and with the spare on I hit a large bump and that turned on the 4WD, I wasn't able to turn the 4WD off. Until I accidentally found a way of turning it off. Put the car in park, turn the car off, then back on, then turn on your hazards, for some reason when the hazards turned on, the 4WD turned off.
P.S. Whats the easiest way to get a little more performance out of my 1992 1.2 EFI, using the ECVT. I'm planning on installing the turbo and intercooler from my friend's Eagle Talon, but until then I'd like a little more performance. I've toyed with the idea of changing the idle speed to 2000 RPMs just as it is when the engine is cold. That way the "zip" in the ECVT is right there at 2500RPms when your taking off. I enjoy how lively the car is when the engine is cold. What are the consequences of making it idle at 2000 RPMs, other than gas mileage?

no-one have any clue why this happens? or am I just really oblivious, I thought the Justy was too basic to have any kind of traction control.

Maybe there's a problem with your switch, it shouldn't come on 'automatically'.

I don't know if the EVCT will hold up to turbo punishment either?

That is a super rare car 4wd with ecvt. Enjoy it while it lasts. I would recommend changing the transmission fluid with honda cvt and change every 3-5000 miles

alright, thanks, yea i was wondering if it just had some kind of strange traction control, because whenever I started to slide the 4WD would turn on, and I'll be sure to change my transmission fluid this coming thursday on my day off, I'm not sure if the dealer changed it or not when I bought it, but yea, the old lady that owned it before me changed it about every 3-5000miles aswell.
