How does a water pump/oil seal fail? Is it common? stacks Hey stacks, I'll start a new thread instead of hi-jacking this one. Don't know how common it is. Green tint condensate on the oil fill cap, best observed after an oil and filter change. Low mileage engine with what may be 17 year old seals. Doug

i had a problem with loosing all idle speed, revs just dropped and the engine died, turned out it was the slow running jet in the carb was slightly blocked, it only takes the tiniest bit of crap to mess it up, an they often can be a bitch to clean, most additives wont get it. where is the idle mixture screw? i think mine needs backing off a touch as she runs ruch ticking over

So I'm a moron, when i put the carb back together, i missed a cracked vacume line. She's running like a champ. Thanks for the help everyone!
