Hi, I'm new to the forums and aquired a 90 justy with the ecvt. I picked it up for free to get it out of my neighbors field, runs and drives. My problem is that the running lights always stay on. As soon as the battery is connected they light up. What do you think the problem is?? How long would my battery last if I left the lights on?

scoobyroo, On the 89- 94 Justy there is a rocker style switch that protrudes from the top of the steering column cover. This is the hazard switch on my 88 Justy but, is used to control the running lights with the key off and out of the ignition. (Safety feature on the 89-94 Justys) The headlight multi-function switch turns the running lights on only when the ignition is in the on or run position. Now for your problem...Hook up the battery, flip the rocker switch to the off position and your running lights should go out. Let us know how you made out. Jim
