If you could, will you check in your engine compartment, directly below the main fuse block for a black ground wire attached to the chassis. Mine is cut and I can't trace it in my wiring diagram. Where does it lead? Also in the cabin's fuse panel, I have a lead plugged into the coil's fuse terminal(bottom left) that leads to nowhere, do you? Thanks JLantz 91 4wd

The black ground wire goes directly to a bolt on the transmission, right below the battery. It's just another engine to chassis ground. As for the wire sticking out of the fuse box, just throw it away. It was most likely used to power a stereo or some other accessory by a previous owner. It shouldn't be their!
