I have seen those stock 12" alloys online from different part places for widely varying prices. The good news is that they all used to be in the exotic $207 range like you saw, but I am pretty sure the last time I looked I found them for less. Maybe they are having a tough time selling them with the limited demand.

The stock alloys that I was looking at were on the EBAY buy it now priced at $99 a piece or make a offer. I through a offer of $20 and they countered with $52. When you figured in the shipping, it would have cost me $400 for a set. I`ll wait, I`m patient

Jeeze, I never thought it would be so hard to find some 12" tires. I naturally called around all the local places first, nothing going at all. TireRack had some Kumho's 155/80R12's for $26.00 each tried to order but five minutes after I place order they call and tell me they're on backorder, won't be in for two months. So, I ended up getting some Yokohama's 165/70R12's for $48.00 each. Oh well, kudos to TireRack for communication anyhow.

I got a set of 155/80 R12s from them and they cost me $19.99 a piece. I bought 5 and mounted and balanced them myself. Now, This was about 5-6 years ago but, I bet the price has not gone up that much $48.00 a piece for a 12" tire is high! Hell, Thats like the cost of a 165/65 R13 Bridgestone RE-92 which as most Justy folks know are practically non existent. I like TireRack, I have dealt with them in the past and have never had a problem. Jim

Here are my new rims from an Isuzu. I have 14" 185R70 but had to cut the fenders. The clearance is great. This is an off road and winter beater car so traction and clearance have won over performance and appearance.

I've been seeing a wheel on a specific Honda Civic that I really like. I think the model is the '92 or so CX hatchback or something like that. Also seen them on a couple coupes, but didn't get the trim level. Anyway, it's a 14" aluminum wheel that I think would look really nice on the Justy. Have to track them down and see. I tried sticking a front wheel from my MR-2 Spyder on the Justy and the bolt pattern was the same, but the hub spacing was different. Makes me wonder if a FWD Corolla wheel or something would work. I should see if there is a yard around that will let me test-fit a few different wheels. I agree with the comments about there not being much point in putting a larger/heavier wheel on the car. My only goal was to try to find something for the street (my car sadly sees mostly tarmac duty) so I could keep my pretty new M+S tires on the stock wheels for dirt treks. I was hoping to find a wheel that would allow me to 1) put a more common and easier to find tire size on there, 2) provide the ability to run a slightly lower profile tire for handling reasons and 3) to slightly improve the final drive ratio for fuel economy and lower cruise RPM. After reading a lot of the info in the wheels/tires section (THANKS EVERYONE!!!!) I think I will just leave it be. The car's pretty fun to drive as it is, so I think I will just keep going slow and getting dirty looks from SUV drivers when my slow lil car disturbs their phone conversations. Haha... Thanks again for all the info people have contributed here!
