Hi ppl,
Just found this forum. Have bought a justy with 84K Km on the clock and model 1990. Engine 1.0L It is an excellent car however i have an issue with the idling. At times it idles perfectly, other times(sporadically) it just switches off. SO i decided to open the carburettor. I have a couple of questionsL 1. WHat carburettor do i have or how can i tell? 2. Is there a manual for this car with exploded diagrams or is there a website on the net with explanations? 3. I bought a carb kit to replace all the gaskets, jets etc.... as when i opened it the twin choke was sticking a bit and the idle jet was very dirty. I will post some pictures with explanations if you want. 4. WHere is the best place to get good parts in europe preferably.
Point no.2 is the most important for me. I hope you can help. THanks!

We here in Jamaica have the 1.0 engines as well. I have only seen one type of carb on them - the Mikuni. It is usually on the side of the carb.
Parts for them are too expensive so most persons here tend to switch to the Nissan carbs which are pretty similar and cost way less. I think they are almost a direct bolt on.
Exploded diagrams are usually only available at Subaru dealers in the parts catalogue or the shop service manuals which are almost non-existent.
Can't tell you about the parts.
