@neuspeed: Be aware that you cannot pull out a piston and stick it in again without special tools. CU, Klaus Thanks for the tip, it we decide to fix it ourselves, I will be sure to get one of those tools first. By the way, what is that tool called?

@neuspeed: OK, what you will need: - a torque wrench (you need to have the correct torque for the bearings! If you don't have them, just ask an I'll check the manual) - the tool for the piston. The Problem is, that I don't know the english word for it. But it's looking like this www.electronic-onlineshopping.de/kolbenringspannband/- other standard wrenches etc. While you're at it, you should prolly swap out the old oil pan gasket. The question is, if you should really pull the piston out of the cylinder ... I don't think that really changes anything. If the piston really hit the head, the costs to repair the engine will very likely be out of range. So I'd try to repair the bearing (if broken) and see if it runs ... Greetings, Klaus
