Hello
I own a 1990 Justy 4WD, its a great car has about 215,000 km
i was wondering if there is an easy way to lift the car. like 1 or two inches. also
are there any performance improvement that can be made to it. (not a turbo)
mine is starting to drink oil..
it came with a ecvt tranny.. that fried. and now has a 5spd. works great. especially in the snow

A good way to lift it is to get new coil springs made. I had a set made at coilsprings.com. Put them in and get it re-aligned. 2" is probably about your limit.
You could install a Weber carb and larger exhaust.
If it is using oil, what grade are you currently using? I use Pennzoil 15W40 Long Life in mine and it works fantastic, runs quiet, easy starts, and very little consumption. It also has a high detergent content to help keep your engine clean. Good stuff.

My justy is Fuel Injected.. so i dont think i can put in a carb,
interesting idea about the coil springs. tho i'll email em and ask about it
i use whatever is cheapest oil wize. 5w30 , 10w30
i havent really paid much attention. i get the feeling my car isnt going to last much longer so . i have been neglecting it.
my whole family owns subarus Dad owns a 2003 wrx wagon Mom, 2000 Impreza Outback Sister , !990 Legacy Myself a 1991 Justy 4WD , FI, 5SPD and i also have a 1988 XT6 that im trying to sell as its been giving me some problems. (id love to actually make it a rally car if it wasnt so bloddy complicated

5W30 is much to thin of a viscosity to run, it calls for at least 10W30 when new. Try what I suggested, I think it works very well at pretty much all temps.

Easy way to lift the car: Coil spring spacers
They can be had for about 50 bucks and work great. I have a set of 1" coil spring spacers on my jeep and they don't have any adverse effects.
