Looks sharp. I like the front lip. What is that, vinyl floor to wall molding?
On cutting the springs:
How did you take the rears off? I have new springs, but don't really want to go through the whole unmounting strut, lowering control arm with a jack route. I got a coil spring compressor, but it was too big to fit in there.
If I went through all that time and trouble, I would replace the rear struts too.
I am curious, and pressed for time to work on the Justy!

i wedged the compressor in there some how, i know i only got one side of the compressor on. Not both clamps. One was enough to free up the weight on it. Then i cut it on the arm.

My I remind you guys how EXTREMELY dangerous working with spring compressors is. Manual spring compressors can slip and the spring can shoot out at any moment. Always use both and space then equally opposite from each other. Have a spotter too. At my friend's work one of the mechanics left a spring in the wall-mounted compressor (the "safest" type, caged even better) over lunch and they heard a large boom. The spring had gotten loose and left a nice whole in the roof where it shot through. The spring was never recovered... If valve springs can go through valve covers and hoods at the drag strip just imagine what suspension springs can do.

well considering the rear spring is under little pressure when completely off the ground. That wouldnt happen..............Thanks tho. I work for acura, any good technician knows not to leave spring unattended in the press. Thats just retarded.

Heh. Heh. Haven't seen someone catch that bug in awhile... One of the crew used to have a magnificent love-hate relationship w/ a VW Fox. While it said Wolfsberg/burg edition, it was made in Brazil oddly enough! Have Fun,
