Ice racing domination machine!!! Just kidding. Hello all, I'm a new member from Ontario Canada. Members of the Minden Ice Race community said "if you can find a Justy...BUY IT"...So I did. I bought a 1990 2dr, 4wd, 5 speed car in the Sumner. It looked ok, ran well and the price was right. The goal is to transform it into an Ice Racing Domination Machine. I've dripped the interior, exterior lights, painted it an awful colour and bought some wicked tires for studding. I don't know much about the Subaru Justy, I'm hoping to use this forum to help me when issues arise. I have a YouTube page, showing my progress. I hope you enjoy. youtube.com/@lastplaceracing6540

Hey! I somehow stumbled on your stuff a while back! Awesome to see another Justy driven in anger. Particularly a Ontario one! It will make a great Ice Racer imho, and glad to see you have a second gen, you might be able to find fenders if you rub someone... To be honest the platform is good, except the damn oil system. If you are making good oil pressure good... install a decent gauge and keep an eye on it. The general consensus is there is not enough flow... I've been through more motors then I want to think about. Check out the "orange rally justy" in the rally section below. I went dry sump, but rally in summer is harder on oil then ice racing in winter. Matt
