Hi folks!I've been following this forum for a while and have decided to sign up as Ive not long bought a 1995 2 door subaru justy with the selectable 2 and 4 wheel drive and the little 1.2 injection engine which i love to bits and plan on keeping it long term I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to lower it without cutting the springs? As we all know parts can be tough to find but ive been told a mk1 golf struts would fit? Does anyone know any certain model of car that could fit without serious modification? Cheers guys 😊

Hi All... Stalled with life, and getting oil to Justy first. Also I will be working on a suspension that will not lower, but add travel, and a bit of ride height... hopefully soon. (Lathe procurement ongoing). Just cut yer springs mang!

You can get custom springs made here if you want to stiffen and lower your ride www.springcoil.co.uk/springs/suspension-springs/ They have a lowering kit in their part-made stock that will lower the car by 30mm and the spring rate is up-rated by 10 – 15% from standard for £144.95 . However I did not get round to confirming all technical details inc. year and model of Justy, they will also make bespoke springs at £50 each + vat. They also make custom anti-roll bars, which is something I will investigate once I get my car on the road again... cheers, Ewan
