Hey man, some project you've got there.. Don't mean to be obtrusive but, did you consider buying another Justy to chop and slash ? yours looks just pristine, seems a shame to me to do such drastic mods on it.. maybe mount the engine on a proto style chassis and drop another Justy on top ? Again, don't mean to offend anyone or tell what they have to do.. just my 5 cents.. Good luck with your project anyway..

OMG that's a great idea! That should be a pretty easy project. The Justy is widely known for being overbuilt. It's almost as if it was built for a V8, which would explain why there are so many Justy V8 swaps driving around out there. I mean, take a look at the hub I pulled from an '88 at the junkyard yesterday. Just because it literally fits in the palm of my hand doesn't mean that attaching it to a V8 isn't a great idea. [The actual hub is smaller than it appears on your computer screen] The rest of the car is equally robust, so I foresee zero problems with this well-worn idiea.

Autopart, So many folks come on here with big plans for their Justy, it gets tiring... we few remaining are a skeptical bunch. It's the internet, so put your money on the table and show up some nice fab work pics (of a finished project, not just some welded frame with no way to steer it) and we'll be impressed. Pics or it didn't happen

Good luck, if you have the fab skills it is possible. However, you'll probably end up with a tube chassis with a justy body on it.
Also, I hope you don't plan to drive it on the street with a cage in it. That's a good way to get yourself killed.
