Love it!
My Caveat... do you drive it with a helmet? It appears the half lateral on the cage goes nearly right over your head!
Caged cars and no helmet is really not a good idea. At bare minimum. Make sure any area of the cage you head could contact (and that's about a 6-8" circle around your head ) is covered with an appropriate cushion (not foam insulation...)
Is that a bike muffler? NICE!
Oh yeah, and I asked in the other thread, but again, here... what wheels are those?

Once again good eye_ The roll cage came out of a toyota pre-runner set up. I cut and flipped it and added an extension on the top as well as more pipe for the front portion. I have since added padding in all the crucial areas_ and yes it is pipe insulation_ LOL. Is roll bar specific padding far superior? Fortunately, the bar is above and a little ways behind the top of the seat, though you realy can't tell in the pictures. The mortorcycle exhaust sounds awesome and brings all the ladies around, along with the gold bumper accents. In reality, I have dudes commenting on how sweet my ride is all the time. Apparently, round these parts Early Subies = Street Cred_ My wife says that next to all the huge ass lifted desert trucks the Justy makes my genitals look big_ I think that is a compliment? The wheels came off of another Justy (2 door) that has a fresh engine (120K) with a bad EVCT. I maybe looking to get rid of the body (wife does not like parts car) after I pull the motor if anyone in the area (Northern Ariona) is interested_ zero rust. Be nice to see it go to a home. On the wheels, I'll have to look at the brand_ they are aluminum and look cool because they have wheel offsets behind them. I know, I know_ that puts more stress on the bearings_ but they look sweet. I picked up some steel 14" rims for 20$ off of Craigslist yesterday. My hope is to find an all terrain light truck tire that I can stuff into the wheel wells. 195/75 R14 is the smallest I've been able to find. I may need to do a 1" body lift in the back. Though I realy like how the car handles when it is lower. Problem is that AZ has sharp rocks and I thought that the agressive tread and additional ply's would be better. I don't know if the rotational weight of the R14's will suck. Any input from someone who has actually run 14's? power, gearing, drivetrain, steering I posted this under rally"ish" because the car is my daily driver but my 10 mile daily commute options are: A). Dirt Roads B). Gnarly Dirt Roads C). Super Gnarly Dirt Roads or D). Interstate. I'm trying to find a balance between fun and reliability. I have a turbo set like the one pictured below (1/2 of a BMW 351i). The turbo is small and I think it will spool fast. I thought I'd try a 2" aluminum adapter plate (the outer manifold ports are 1cm out from the exhaust ports on the head) and a BEGI rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Anyone tried this route to managing fuel mixture in an EFI setup?

I forgot to mention the gold bumpers... That is pure bling right there.
You're wife sounds like a smart girl.
True cage padding is more like the foam in a helmet. It's actually kinda hard... Imagine your soft head going mach 2 towards a hard object... you need to dissipate the energy, and that is through deforming a fairly stiff material. After an impact the foam is often permanently distorted (that's why you should through away you bike helmet after a hard crash... )
Soft insulation foam feels nice when you "test" it... but when you really need it, it does pretty much squat...
Oh and tell us more about the bike!
Does the beamer use different sized turbos?

Good to know on the insulation_
The BMW 335i has a 3Ltr straight six with twin turbos_ both turbos are the same.

This is the stuff I would look for. www.jegs.com/p/Kirkey/Kirkey-High-Density-Roll-Bar-Padding/1118152/10002/-1There is some low density cage foam out there, but my understanding is that is only for slip and trip injury getting in and out of you car, not for impact protection, and certainly not bare-head impact. However my fear was not your main hoop, but the bar that runs up the A-pillar and I assume along the door line to the hoop. As the bend in the hoop is big, I assumed it would join up in the straight section along the roof, somewhere over you head. Grab some pics of the area above your head and how that bar meets up with the hoop.

AWESOME!! Please explain your suspension!
***EDIT*** Hey - I saw your other thread on the suspension.
I ran 165/65-14's on '95 Ford Escort 14x5 aluminum wheels for a few years on my 2WD '93. It was a significant improvement on the highway, and the wheelset weighs almost exactly the same as the factory 13" steelie, wheel cover, and the same tire in a 13" so it's not too bad. The Justy is indeed sensitive to unsprung weight, so if you can find something lighter - even better.
