Are you going to be able to use the exhaust manifold, I guess not but can hurt to ask.

I asked the guy that was selling it if the manifold was included and he never said, he just replied, "I didn't think Daihatsu gti turbos were imported to the US". Yeah, no kidding, that's why I wanted it. I thought it might be cast iron and maybe not weldable. I'm glad you got it, it looks like a good one. Hopefully you can refine the turbo procedure a little bit further for people like me who have never done anything like that before. Someday it might be just a matter of knowing which parts to buy and installing them.

Oooooh! I hadn't even thought of that...I thought I would require a whole custom header. Hmmm...turbo is suddenly looking a lot more tempting

looking good dunk! few questions for you;
how are you going to go about mounting the carb to the inlet manifold? how far off are the mounting holes?
whats the plan for the oil feed to the turbo? i wouldnt like to add any more capacity to the justys already weak oil system. i was thinking a sandwich plate between the filter and block, and an electric pump and the turbo feed off that?

Having my friend make me up an adapter plate , should be finished in new year! And the oil feed, not 100% sure on that one, probably disconnect the oil pressure switch and use that for time being? or maybe put a T piece on it, although you can buy sandwich plates for around £20
