This is fuċking brilliant! I just downloaded it and now I have what someone else just paid $75 for!?! Truth is I paid $20 for a massive parts book a couple of years ago but now I have this for free and I have always wanted a digitized version anyways! Bravo, man, bravo!

I tried finding one online for FREE and couldn't. So I got around to scanning one I got. Glad you appreciate it This kind of thing should be free...how else are we going to order overpriced oem parts from online subaru e-stores. I like www.subarugenuineparts.com in the "oem catalog" Here are some scans of a dealer sales brochure from 1987. "Subaru Introduces.."

Unless I missed something here, this is only a 14 page parts list, not nearly the info as the dealer parts book which I believe was just sold, so Fuji should not be too upset. If it's the same as the parts book I have, it is about 1.5 to 2 inches thick, hundreds of pages long.

i agree that this is not the full article and a complete genuine parts book would be invaluable to have. i myself was hoping to buy estebans parts book as i was the one that origionaly PM'ed him and asked if he would ship abroad. unfortunatly, i believe the final price was over the top and i dont have that amount of cash lying around. my comment previously was maybe i was a bit quick to reply as i hadnt quite realised that it wasnt the complete book and i agree that fujinat has got far information than we have although at quite a price!

Yeah, inches thick and too many pages long. I think I am going to make it my goal to scan mine this winter and make it available to most members of this board for free.

Yeah I checked that thread and that would be awesome to have as a searchable PDF. Thats a parts catalog which covers every nook and cranny of the car. This parts list basically covers parts that would typically be damaged in a collision. I have one for my Impreza thats 33 pages due to the additional features in the car. The only thing I have that comes close is "Subaru Fast 2" which is basically the program the parts guy has on his computer at the dealer. Mine only has JDM & UK Impreza stuff loaded into it though.
Just incase you didn't notice, the parts list has labor times listed for each item if serviced by a repair shop. So you'll know if you're getting worked if you take it in or get an estimate.

Yeah, inches thick and too many pages long. I think I am going to make it my goal to scan mine this winter and make it available to most members of this board for free. Oh boy! I have been watching this parts book thing develop over the last couple of days and I feel really bad that it has caused some bad blood between some of our members. We all know a factory Subie parts book is an invaluable asset but, sadly they are getting really hard to come by... I paid $12.00 for mine 5 years ago and would not sell it for 10X that amount now. But, here is the thing... I have the 1987-1992 Factory Subaru Justy parts book on 4 microfiche acetates still in the envelope. (I bought it years ago!) I would be willing to DONATE this item to the board provided that the the info will be scanned and posted here for any and all to view when needed. (Maybe we could have a special section for it) I only wish it was the 87-94 version but hey, I got what I got. Unfortunately, I do not have the computer know how to do this myself but, I'm sure someone here does and may be willing to do it. Let me know. Jim

I nominate Dunk to carry out this task should he be willing. I feel Dunk is the right man for the following reasons: - He has the tech know how to do it and do it well
- He can be trusted with this valuable document
- He genuinely cares enough about the cause & won't use it to spite another member

This is I hope, the LAST post concerning the parts manual I just sold. It has brought out the worst in a few members, including myself. The true factory parts manual is over 700 pages, with pix, diagrams, ECVT parts , cross reference, years of application, etc., etc. I have also added many more pages for refence to it. I paid MORE than it sold for & feel that the buyer will agree how valuable it is, once he sees it & uses it. I was at a Subaru dealer once, & they could not find the part I needed for my Justy. I went back , later , with my manual & they were able to locate it & ordered the parts for me. Hopefully, this will put an end to the mess I started by trying to sell something on this board.

I think you meant well Esteban. In the future, if someone has such a goody for grabs, I feel they should either name a flat price (take-it-or-leave-it) or else start a long auction on eBay and then put a shout out here on the board to alert Justy types. It can only work out better for you in the end.

UMM MODS? STICKY???!!!!!!!! Also, if you need someone to do the technical stuff, I could also do it as it's my full time job. I'm a Supervisor for HP's Technical Support here in Canada.

Been also saving manual files online and www.subarupartspros.com/ have some. They have a parts section and almost all subaru parts are available. But do anyone have a part list for earlier models '98?
