hey Subieguy, i just had a look on ebay for you for R5 carbs, we have 2 in the uk going! they havent stated if they will post worldwide, but i am sure if you asked nicely they would (unless your in Nigeria or a member of the Tukka Tukka ;D) cgi.ebay.co.uk/renault-5-turbo-standard-carb_W0QQitemZ4586090803QQcategoryZ10410QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemcgi.ebay.co.uk/Renault-5-GT-Turbo-Group-A-Carb_W0QQitemZ8010906557QQcategoryZ72205QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemotherwise try some breakers over here, it was a very popular car, and still is today. otherwise, find a french speaking chum and get them onto a french website as for the coil, as far as i am aware the justy coil is the same as honda prelude 2.2, so is quiet pokey standard. i went to upgrade mine but the guy i spoke to advised against it as the justy is 11v rather than 12v . i figure a ballast resistor should do the trick, but not sure now i have efi, the coil is definately different

OK, here is the picture with WRX seats installed. Installation was a bit hard, I had to fabricate new mounts ,modifying the standard Justy brackets. As one side of the Justy floorboard is higher than the other side, I put spacers under one side, and extended the backside to screw on WRX mounts. But the result is well worth it. It grips well, and is verrry comfortable.

that looks like a proper fit! can you change gear alright? also, has your driving height been raised? im quiet tall and can only think i might need to bolt my next seat to the floor if they make you sit higher!

Definitely looks OEM, I tried hard to make it so. I can change gears without problem in my normal driving configuration. If you shift the seat too much to the front, you may have problems shifting into 2'nd only. And yes, the driving height has increased a tiny bit. I am 1.80m, and do not hit the ceiling at all. I was thinking of a windscreen sticker, but after seeing how it would restrict my vision, esp. traffic lights, I changed my mind. I guess you actually can come up with a fixture to bolt the seats directly on the floor, or just loose the slider mechanism and fix the seating position. I chose adjustable position as I wanted other people to be able to drive my car when I am away.

I last had a chance to take a pic with the PIAA 8000Kelvin Xenons. They are a big improvement for me after the standard H4 Phillips. At night, it illuminates a traffic post about one kilometer away. I am looking for some suitable fog lamps as well, as Xenons do not work well in fog. Tried and tested.

Still looking for a carburetor. I found one from a Renault 11 turbo, but it was no good, all oxidized and broken... Nothing comes up at ebay either...

Yes, that would be great, but the seller only ships within the UK. Even if he/she shipped, it would cost a lot as the manifold is heavy. This is a problem with most of the auctions I've seen. There were some good R5 carbs, but no int'l shipping. BTW, that Charade carb+manifold looks very similar to carb Justy manifold. The thermostat and water passages are sure there.

i am interested to see a charade manifold now! i might try looking for one! (youve got me thinking again... i had a red 3000gt pass me yesterday, wide asses on those things! i think the general fuel economy for a justy is around 35-40mpg, if yours is lower give her a service, or a little less of the loud pedal (below 4k rpm!)
