I was adding some oil to my justy and noticed a hose on my ECVT that was not attached to anything on the other end.
It is a couple inches to the right of the starter and is only about 1/4 of an inch in diameter. The hose is attached to the transmission and is curved over top, but I couldn't find where it connects to.
I am boggled, I don't know how long it has been like this, but maybe it is contributing to my lack of power.
If anyone could post some pics of their ECVT, or tell me if they know where the other end goes.
Hope this is enough info.
Thanks
Andy

I know squat about the ECVT, but I know on most trannies there is usually some sort of vent hose.

Andy, Thats the vent hose for the ECVT trans. My 90 4WD ECVT has the same hose in the same location (Near the starter)...I know it sounds flaky but, thats what it is. Jim

Thanks Jim, Yeah it looks flaky, but as long as thats how it should be, it's good with me.

Looks I might know more than squat.

haha Forsure. I wish I didn't know anything about an ECVT, that would mean my justy was a manual.
