Hello there. I heard on this forum that the justy ecvt trans can be rebuilt with not too much difficulty. Anyone actually done it?
How much does it cost, and are the parts avaliable? Do I need any special tools? Is it even worth while to do?

Sorry, I have very little experience with the ECVT, but I would say that your biggest hurdle may be the price of parts. Chances are anything you need will have to come from the dealer. A fellow Justy owner here was looking to replace the broken belt in his tranny and was quoted a price of $500. Probably cheaper/easier to try to find a replacement tranny, and you may even want to consider a swap to a five-speed.

If ford bought the copyright, can a ford festiva tranny and engine be put into the justy? I also would like to know if there is possibly a kit that may allow me to put one of those ford engines into the justy engine compartment?
