Figured I'd start a build thread finally! My gf and I bought an 88 justy in December with the hopes of turning it into some sort of neat overland vehicle. It's a fun little ride, and it always gets a bunch of attention. Since then, We've finally got around to fabricating the lift kit. Spacers installed and ready to rock! Also got around to getting the tires squared away. Coming together! Just a hairs worth of trimming in the rear where the spotweld seams rub

nice. how much lift, what size tires did you put on there? We went up 2”. We also wound up putting 25” kanati mongrels on the 12” Rims we had. They’re dot and weight rated. Not very smooth at road speeds hahaha So our latest escapade made for a great time. That little Car went down trails i never thought it would in a hundred years. Says a lot for low cg and shorty wheelbase. And being independently sprung, it winds up having more diff clearance than my buddy’s jeep on 35’s! We got to one section that wound up killing the clutch... So now we’ve delved into taking apart the motor to go through it on the stand, and giving a good look into somehow getting some sort of low range. At this point we’re considering machining an “extra low” 1st crawler gear, but we will ultimately see once the trans is apart and we can assess further
