I have found a Justy online and I am going to look at it this weekend. I would like some help figuring out what to look for in the car. Where should I be looking for rust and things like that. Thanks.

The ad is selling 2 Justy's. One as a parts car and the other has a good body with low mileage. Not sure the exact mileage on them.
They're located in Ontario Canada... It's 1000 CAD for both of them.
Thanks.

Rustario? Manual or cvt? Manual is good... Rust Rust Rust Check rear quarters where rear trailing arm attaches. Can really rot out. Not much other then cut and weld if it does. Obviously door bottoms etc to pass safety. Rockers aren't generally too bad, but the seam between the floor and the inner rocker can go out... watch for this. Do you know the car? Most die due to low oil pressure to main bearings causing rods to go MIA... I would not buy a car I planned to daily driver without seeing oil pressure from a gauge. The oil light comes on at like 3 psi... so don't go by that. The rest is same old same old.

Gauge is pretty easy. Go to the local gettin' store, Princes Auto if one is close, or C-tire if not. And pick up one of these. www.princessauto.com/en/detail/mechanical-oil-pressure-gauge/A-p8680902eback of the block (between firewall and engine) beside oil filter is a little pressure switch for the oil light. Unscrew it, screw in the fitting for the gauge, and hook it up. No electrics needed. don't kink the cheapo plastic line! Fire it up. Good motor will give you nearly 40 psi at idle cold. And once warmed up as long as it's above 30lbs off idle, it will last a while Lower then 20 lbs off idle, you have an eminent disaster.
