Hello everybody, I've got a question for the experts out there. I have a first gen but found a second gen some one is willing to part out my question is about the cv axles and front steering knuckle hub assembly. Does anybody know if they are interchangeable between generations? Thanks for the help

He he... Legos man, Legos. Yes, get the brakes too though. Can't remember Gen 1 brake hole spacing is different to swap the rotors between hubs. I would assume it is, but might as well. Of course you need the bearings for the bigger axle stub. Get the short extension for the equal length drive shafts. Makes the car nicer to drive on loose surface without 4wd. Basically just put the whole driveline in You can put out cvs on the gen 1 shafts if you want to keep the unequal shaft lengths You do not need to swap spindles unless you want the heavier ones... the outer bearing size is the same.

Awesome that's great news, my right front hub is going south quick. Had a lot of fun getting her to that point : ) I think I'll grab both steering knuckle hub brake assemblies and cv axles for the front.
Now one more clarification. 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive parts up front should be the same yes? I assume they would be Japanese car manufactures seem to be wise in Using the same parts that way.

As far as I know, yes. I have only ever seen one 2wd car. Looked the same.
