Ok I've got two annoying issues. Sometimes, a bell starts ringing. It's like the old school warning noise, but I can't figure out what's it's going on for. There are no lights on the dash showing what it could be (though normally they do work). It wasn't ringing then after a rain storm started going. The bell seems to be right inside the middle of the dash so I imagine it will be hard to turn off. I would rather figure out why it's on in the first place. Anyone know what the reasons would be for the bell to ring like that? Sometimes it goes on, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it rings and doesn't stop, sometimes it turns off after a few minutes. Starting to get annoying Second issue.... When stopped, engine running, exhaust gets into the cabin (when I am running the heater pulling from outside air). What could be the issue? Exhaust leak? Bad heater core? Not a super big deal but makes it no fun to sit at a stoplight. thanks everyone!

Not Sure on the Buzzer/Ringer but check exhaust gaskets between manifold and Catalytic converter and downpipe. Also check to make sure the EGR Pipe and Nut are tight. Next place that might have a leak is the flex joint. My exhaust leaks between the catalytic converter and downpipe I have yet to find something that totally seals it.

Mine does also leak between catalytic converter and the down pipe. And I cant get it fixed. It seems like my catalytic is clogged or something, and maybe the exhaust can't flow normally and could cause to much pressure. Do you think I can remove the catalytic and replace it with a pipe? I have one catalytic converter under the car.

Subru you could save some money and adapting time by knocking the catalyst out of the down pipe. Not sure of the legality of that action but it does offer results, it will change the way your car sounds slightly too. Wear a dust mask for sure if you do go that route! Sometimes a lot of grease on the flange will help seal little leaky spots that or red silicone. The grease method is smokey for a little while as it burns away.

I will try to knock that shit out first 😝 It seems like the connection between the catalyst and the down pipe has another angle. So it dosen't fit properly.
Thanks for the reply 😊
